Yesterday was the second lesson for obento boxmaking. In the Otona (adult) obento box course we made a couple of side dishes including tamagoyaki (Japanese omelet) followed by 2 main dishes, Karaage (Japanese Fried Chicken) and Ginger Pork). We also made Onigiri (Rice balls).
In the youchien (kindergarten) obento course, I touched on how to make animal sausages and other ways to make the obento box appealing to the young ones. This course we will be making miso-katsu (Japanese style deep-fried breaded pork in Miso sauce and Tori Tukune (Mini chicken burgers in teriyaki sauce) for the main dish and few other side dishes. Both courses will cover at least 12 different obento fillers so bring a big obento box! I hope everybody had a good time filling up their obento boxes! (I sure did!) There are some spots left for Obento course in April. Please inquire for availability>>>contact form

Hey squad, this website feels like a digital playground – maybe add a 'Creative Challenges' segment for art prompts, writing exercises, and creative competitions!
